TUESDAY, AUGUST 16

SESSION #1 8:10 TO 9:00 AM – CLINT BRUCE "PURSUING ELITE"

People who consistently produced elite outcomes on maps that matter make daily decisions to be balanced, curious, tribal, intentional and authentic.  They have a holistic lens on their lives and are intentional and thoughtful in how they craft adventures/endeavors and endure inevitable adversity.  Their lives and accomplishments offer a framework that can be synchronized where we share maps and missions, yet also customized - because all of our maps are a little bit different.  While "excellence" may be a function of talent/treasure advantage, sustained success rarely is.  Rather, it is a relentless but achievable set of daily disciplines called the PursuitPoints.  Audiences will better understand how to build their own version of a pursuit plan for an elite life as they and their professional endeavors define it.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  1. The audience will be able to identify opportunities for sustainable and holistic growth as individuals, members of families, and as professionals
  2. The audience will learn the methodologies used by members of elite units in the military and elite athletes to identify and remediate performance limitations.
  3. Participants will build a beginning version of their own “Maps that Matter Most” and be able to add/refine as they integrate planning principles described during the PursuingElite session.
  4. Participants will be able to better understand their natural and cultivated advantages (talents, gifts, gained skills) and how to compliment those skill with angles (ever-increasing skill and ability in the requirements of their profession) and allies (complimenting and augmenting their shortfalls with the skills and abilities of teammates)
