Recent Trends in Collegiate Accounting Education

Rachel Cox, CPA is an Instructor of Professional Practice and the Coordinator of the Accounting Program at OSU-Tulsa. She currently teaches multiple sections of ACCT 4503, External Auditing and ACCT 4553, Ethics for Public Accountants, as well as serving as the faculty advisor for Student CPT, a student organization that promotes ethical leadership. She joined the faculty in 2017 after spending 5 years working as a CPA in Tulsa, Oklahoma for Ernst & Young LLP (EY) and BOK Financial. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting in 2012, and maintains her CPA license in the state of Oklahoma.
